About The Position

DVO is hiring for an IT Administrator to join us at our business office in Pleasant Hill, CA. You will work under the direct supervision of the IT Director and be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers, security systems, windows operating system, phone system and Electronic Medical Records (EMR). You will have the opportunity to investigate and diagnose network problems, collect data, make recommendations and carry out routine configuration and installation of IT solutions from start to finish. You will ultimately be the go to person as support for all the users in the company and may be required to travel to other off site locations.

  • Installation and configuration of desktop systems for new employees
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for all company hardware/software issues
  • Troubleshooting Windows server platforms and OS (Win 7 and up) , and Active Directory
  • Troubleshooting and configuring handheld devices
  • Troubleshooting printers
  • Escalation of voice, application, and server issues to appropriate department leads
  • Managing in-office WiFi and internet connections

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years experience as systems administrator
  • 3 years networking experience
  • Working knowledge of: Windows 10 Professional, networks printers, network scanners, Mobile Devices (Iphone, Ipad and Android devices), Microsoft Office version 365, MS Teams, Skype for Business, Network Clients (Cisco AnyConnect, Citrix XenApp, Microsoft RDP), Phone System (VOIP), Cloud Systems Office 365, EMR systems and associated medical equipment (lab analyzers and lab devices) a plus
  • Able to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to research and resolve complex problems
  • Must have reliable automobile transportation and maintain a valid California Driver's License and insurance
